The Las Cruces area was treated to a partial solar eclipse on October 23rd, 2014. I brought ASLC's single-stack SolarMax 60 scope to work, and set it up for public viewing in the mid-afternoon. Near the end of the event, I pulled out my iPhone and snapped a few shots. One turned out pretty good. Clicking the above images will bring up a larger, higher-resolution images. |
